Winter storm approaching

Due the forecast for heavy snow on Sunday, we have made a change to the schedule. Please read the following for important information related to the MSTCA Coaches Invitational and the MSTCA Freshman-Sophomore Championship.

  • The MSTCA Coaches Invitational start time is moving up to 9AM (on Saturday, January 24).
  • The Freshman-Sophomore Championship is being moved from Sunday to Saturday, January 24. It will start at 3PM or 45-minutes after the end of the Coaches Invitational meet–whichever time is LATER.
  • 2026 MSTCA Ron Wayne Athlete Hall of Fame Luncheon and Recognition is postponed until 2027.
  • 2025 Outdoor Track and Field and Cross Country Coach of the Year Award Presentations will be moved to Saturday, January 24th at 10:00 a.m. We will also recognize Coaching Hall of Fame Inductee Tony DaRocha in a brief ceremony on the track at 11:00 a.m.

Additional Meet information.

If the Coaches Invitational ends anytime before 2:15PM, Frosh-Soph will start at 3PM. A Coaches end time after 2:15, we will wait 45-minutes until starting Frosh-Soph to allow ample warm-up time. The meet has been reopened on athletic.net and will close at 7pm Friday (January 23). THERE ARE NO NEW ENTRIES.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING FROSH-SOPH ENTRIES:

Please scratch any athletes who will not be able to attend. You should scratch athletes who were accepted AS WELL AS athletes who did not make the original cut off, if you do not want them considered for the meet.

At 7PM Friday, January 23rd, we will re-process the meet. No athlete previously accepted will lose their spot (unless scratched by you). Athletes who were not previously accepted will be moved into slots available based on scratches. Our goal is to have the new performance list posted no later than 9PM Friday.
