2026 MSTCA INDOOR TRACK & FIELD ATHLETES OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to the MSTCA Winter Track and Field Boys and Girls Athletes of the year honorees. There were a number of incredible performances this winter season and narrowing the choices down to the top two was a challenge.

Congratulations to Ryan Pulpi of Reading Memorial and Abigail Hennessy of Westford Academy for being selected this year's MSTCA Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Year. Finalists for the boys included Pulpi, as well as Mitchell Callender, shot putter from Oliver Ames, and Amar Skeete, long jumper from Catholic Memorial. For the girls, finalists included Hennessy, as well as sprinter Chloe Elder from Natick, and sprinter Nina Kyei' Aboagye from Sharon.

Abigail Hennessy, Westford Academy

• Dual County League Champion: 1000, 2 Mile (Runner-Up 4x800 team)
• MIAA Division 2 Champion: 1000 (2:50.22) and 2 Mile (10:56.21); Runner-Up 4x800 team
• MIAA Meet of Champions - 1 Mile Champion (4:37.46) and 6th place 4x800 team
• MA State Record Girls' Indoor Mile: 4:37.46 / US #1 Mile this year (#7 all time US Mile) - 4:37.46
• US #1 3000 this year (BU Valentine Invite) - 9:02.77
