Larry Klimas was the Indoor and Outdoor Track coach at methuen High School for 20 Years. When he took over the program in the 1970's , the school struggled to post a winning record. Despite little experience as a Track Coach, he turned the team into a perennial powerhouse, winning five indoor and four outdoor state titles and produced some of the best athletes to compete in the ultra competitive Merrimack valley Conference.
