Legendary Coach DiComandrea, otherwise known as Coach "Deke", Coached Cross-Country and Track and Field for 47 years. His accomplishments include over 400 wins, 1972 All State champions, a plethora of Middlesex League Championships, including 10 straight from 1964 to 1973. were also 1983-1984 State Champions, Coach Deke's teams also had an entire decade without a loss, racking up 64 consecutive wins. He was also honored as National Coach of the Year.
