Distance, Cross Country

Bill was the 1985 cross Country All State Championship running 15:27 at the old Franklin Park course. He was a two time XC qualifier for the Footlocker Nationals. Finishing 10th and 13th respectively. In his senior year he set the course record at the Manhattan Invitational running 12:18 for the 2.5 mile course. He was a two time All State 1 mile champion in both 1985 and 1986. He won the New England 1600 meter Championship in a time of 4:07. He has the #5 All time Massachusetts mile time at 4:09 Bill went on to run at Stanford University where he became Stanford’s first 1500m conference Champion in a time of 3:41.32 (which equates to a 3:58 mile) and still ranks in the top 10 all time at Stanford. Let’s welcome Bill Crowley Seekonk Class of 1986 into the MSTCA Athlete Hall of Fame.
