Said Ahmed Boston English H.S. 2001. No doubt one of the most accomplished middle distance/distance runners to come out of the city of Boston. Said is a four-time All-American, three-time SEC champion and a four-time All-SEC selection while at the University of Arkansas. In 2006, Ahmed found his rhythm in the 1,500 meters/mile, ending the season ranked #4 in the U.S. by Track & Field News. The highlight of his season was a new 1,500m personal best of 3:35.94 set in Stockholm on July 25. Please welcome Said Ahmed to the MSTCA Athlete Hall of Fame.
