Coaches,

Welcome to the 2025-26 MSTCA Indoor Track & Field Season. Each year, based on feedback from our Executive Committee (who, in-turn represent you) we make changes and adjustments to our offerings. Below you will find highlights of the major changes and after that a schedule summary.

Highlights Summary:

MSTCA EMAILS:

We have moved to a new workspace and have similar looking but new emails. Please update your contacts accordingly:

Matt Carr: indoor@mstca.org

Jayson Sylvain (for all billing related questions): cfo@mstca.org

LONG JUMP:

This will be year two of the elevated runway. For any meet where we have one gender on each runway, expect a reversal from last year. Additionally, thanks to a donation from USATF-NE, we now have a pole vault extension for the elevated runway and use of a pit belonging to Waltham Track Club for the season. IF we can get a riser built to lift the pit to the height of the elevated runway, look for pole vault to be added to some select meets later this season.

MEDAL STAND:

Through a partnership with the students at Keefe Tech in Framingham we now have a new, high quality, 8-place medal stand that should fit all 4 athletes on medal-winning relay teams.

ATHLETIC.NET:

We have activated some features that we have not traditionally used for the indoor season. When you click on the meet information link, you will find direct links to our website, the live stream, and under “Download Meet Files,” the meet format.

When you click to register athletes, there will be a mandatory pop-up confirming your completion of the required MSTCA forms for our meets and then on the registration page itself, a summary of important meet info (all in the format) that is particularly relevant for registration.

Questions/Comments/Concerns:

In an effort to improve the flow of inquiries and engage your elected Executive Committee representatives, we ask that you consider the following:

–MSTCA Indoor season general questions should go to Matt Carr.

–Questions about a specific meet before or on meet day should go to the meet director.

–Suggestions for changes/improvements/etc should go to your elected Executive Committee members, which you can find on the weekly blasts and our website.
