Sunday, December 5th will be the kickoff to the MSTCA Indoor Track season with the very popular “Do It” Clinic. The clinic is back after a 2 year COVID induced absence, and the MSTCA has great expectations for a strong turnout. Clinicians will include prominent college coaches, MSTCA Hall of Fame and current active coaches, and members of the sports and fitness community. Great opportunity to have your athletes experience some of the recent innovations in training for the Track & Field athlete.
The "Do It" Clinic is held annually in early December, offering participants helpful training tips and advice on a variety of Track & Field events, including the shot put, high jump, triple jump, hurdles, short sprints, long sprints, middle distance and distance events. The athletes will also be introduced to interactive workshops with supplemental activities featuring core strength training, BARRE flexibility and stretching, plyometrics, speed drills, injury prevention and rehab, Sports Psychology/Mental Health advice and alternative workouts for injured athletes.
Check out the video below from the 15th annual event in 2019 where more than 250 athletes participated.
